Lesson Plan on Colors

This lesson plan was created for a curriculum design course. For this course I designed an entire unit for a beginner level EFL class within Japan. This specific lesson plan focused on the part of the unit that focused on learning colors, specifically day 1 of the week.

This lesson plan focuses on using the communicative approach in teaching English as a second language, this means that most of the activities focus on speaking and listening with reading and writing focused more in the homework and handouts throughout the class. This lesson plan also focuses on working in groups to encourage communication between classmates.

During the creation of this lesson plan, I had also been learning about game theory in another class where the focus was on teaching another language through activities that are more game based. That is why a lot of the activities used within this lesson plan focus on making use of games.

As an additional note, at the end of this lesson plan are the handouts and homework worksheets for this particular lesson plan. I did not add the Japanese instruction that would potentially be on these worksheets, but in the complete form they would have some Japanese on them for instruction.

Lesson Plan Gymnastics

This lesson plan focuses on gymnastics coaching. As a gymnastics coach I found similarities to planning out lesson for gymnastics and planning out lessons for teaching additional languages.

This Lesson Plan focuses mainly on recreational gymnastics, which means these students have zero to little experience with gymnastics. Due to that, these lessons usually range from 30 minutes to one hour long, which means that each rotation for the four events are usually 10-20 minutes long.

This is an experimental lesson plan and not viewed as a traditional classroom lesson plan. Still, I hope that you enjoy reading this lesson plan and get in an in-sight into the
